Most Felts are made of natural wool, few of other animal hair.  They are not warp-weft interlaced, but made by taking advantage of the fulling property of wool on condition that its physical property is not changed.

The characteristics are as following:

   A.of excellent springiness, used for shock-proofing, airproofing, pad and flexible

steel wire card clothing under felt.

B.It’s tightness , not tend to loose and can be cut into parts of different shapes.

C.Used as heat insulating materials because of their good heat-insulating property.

D.Used as favorable filtering materials because of tight structure and small opening, and no limitation on the thickness comparing with intertextures.

E.Used as polishing materials because of good wear-resisting property.
